The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reporting that in 2007 103,000 motorcyclists were injured in crashes with 48% of the accidents not involving another vehicle. With this in mind, the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) highly recommends that all motorcyclists take a motorcycle safety course regardless of their experience. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation offers a comprehensive basic and experienced level RiderCourse lead by experienced instructors that cover safety and proper handling of the motorcycle. You are a danger on the road if you have too little experience handling a motorcycle or have become complacent with your skills after years of riding.
