GE Recalls Coffee Makers Due to Fire Hazard | Loudoun Defective Product Attorney
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced General Electric’s voluntary recall of two of their coffee makers, seen below. 

The GE 12-cup digital coffee makers were sold only at Walmart Stores. Model numbers included in this recall are 169164 and 169165. Approximately 900,000 units were produced, and they were sold between January 2008 and May 2010 after Walmart received 83 reports of smoking, melting, overheating, burning and fire (including three burn injuries).
