Virginia Department of Transportation Urges Drivers to Reduce Speeds in Work Zones
Every year, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the transportation construction industry participate in National Work Zone Awareness Week.
In 2009, the program is scheduled for the week of April 6-10.
The theme for this year, which is the 10th year of the program, is “Drive To Survive, Our Future Is Riding On It.”
